To the Big J...

So we are planning on going to Japan in the next while.....our plans are as follows..back in Canada in Feb, so that is coming up straight-away! Can't wait to see everyone, but I can tell you that I definitely want and wish I could miss out on the canadian winter...yay for us though, back to minus thirty. lol. Well we leave for Frankfurt Germany on April 1st, and spend only five days there. With our round the world ticket we had to stop somewheres in Euro so we picked there, now I wish I would of picked Munich instead, but o well. And by the way...if you know anything we should see let us know, cause we have no clue! So five days there and then off to Bangkok Thailand....so I know we will def. be experiencing a culture shock. We haven't made up our minds on if we should make our way up to Shanghai or Hong Kong by ourselves...or simply tour a bit of thailand etc and then fly direct to Tokyo, Japan. It will be interesting whatever we do...and same thing...any pointers? I am nervous mostly about being in such a different culture for such a long period of time. We are leaving tokyo on September 25th...so we are def. there for a few months. Travis is just working out a job, so ....hopefully it all works out well. From what he has heard ( Which was a crazy experience: He met the guys who work for the one company he was researching for in Japan.....he picked the one company out of soo many...and then met them on a river here in New Zealand...just a few weeks ago! How crazy eh? Total blessing! ) Anyway....they've said that the base is located in quite a rural area...so there prob won't be much opportunities for me....so...we will see. I am happy to give up a few months out of my life for trav to experience his dream of working in Japan for a season. And I am sure I can be up to something...there is always something happening somewhere....lets just hope it can include me. If not...I would really like to find the guy who trained 'daniel-son' or even the master dude on Bloodsport.....I am in need of some hardcore training anyway. lol. So...then back to new zealand after the big J......so....world..here we come!

Glad to hear everything is going well in Thailand! Hope you love it as much as I did!

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine as children do. It's not just in some of us; it is in everyone. And as we let our own lights shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others. ~Nelson Mandela
